In the spirit of SE's legendary motto of “BMX Innovations,” they went deep into the design lab this year to develop the speediest ripper ever, the 29-inch Fast Ripper. They took the Big Ripper and re-engineered it with a SRAM GX 1x10 drivetrain, Shimano Deore 10-speed cassette, Avid BB5 disc brakes, an integrated headset, and internal cable routing. This bike is built for speed so it’s only fitting that it comes equipped with Freedom ThickSlick tires. It’s fast. Can you keep up?
The Fat Ripper is the world’s first and only legit 26” fat BMX bike. It’s built around 26” x 3.5” Vee Speedster tires and a legendary PK Ripper-styled 6066 aluminum frame. New this year is an outboard bearing sealed bottom bracket and the addition of Avid BB5 front disc brakes. There really is no stopping this bike. It’s ready to monster truck over everything!
Marshawn Lynch’s 27.5+ Beast Mode Ripper makes its much-anticipated return this year. Long before Marshawn became an NFL Super Bowl Champion and a running back for the Oakland Raiders, he had a love for BMX. So we got together with Marshawn to develop a bike that not only could withstand his abuse, but also captures the elements of his home town of Oakland, CA. This year’s silver and black beast of a bike has been upgraded with the addition of front disc brake to help stop the big 27.5” x 3.0” Beast Mode tires in their tracks. And new this year, the number plate now adorns Marshawn’ football jersey number, No. 24. This is the bike to have if you want to be “bout that action!”
Before the Quadangle there was the STR-1. This dates back to the late 1970s when Stu Thomsen was SE Racing’s National #1 pro and the sport’s first superstar. His signature frame at the time was the Stu Thomsen Replica-1. The STR-1 frame had a unique design with both of the double down tubes wrapping underneath the bottom bracket shell and continuing around the Looptail rear end all the way back to the seat tube. Less than ten STR-1 bikes were produced, making them almost mythical and the most sought-after frames of all time in the vintage BMX world. Fast forward over 40 years to today and SE is proud to bring you the third STR retro bike, the limited edition STR-24. All of the unique features and radness of the original STR-1, but built for the cruiser class with 24” wheels. This bike comes with an authentic SE Racing/Stu Thomsen trading card personally signed by Stu.
The undisputed king of the streets gets his own signature bike this year. That’s right Darnell Meyers, aka Dblocks is crowned with his very own Dblocks Big Ripper. Dblocks put his personal touch on this bike with unique spec choices such as the Harlem camo paint, Freedom ThickSlick tires, Power Wing cruiser bars, Raise it Up Flyer seat, Keep That Wheel Up grip donuts, Dblocks camo plate, and Cycle Squad Maniaccs padset. In the late 70’s, BMX wasn’t the only groundbreaking sport that was taking America by storm. A staple in BMX for nearly as long as the sport has been in existence, the 26” OM Flyer was originally designed by and named after SE’s founder, Scot “Old Man” Breithaupt. This bike captures the essence of BMX's past four decades. It is built to last with a retro styled 4130 Cr-Mo frame featuring a classic Looptail rear end. New this year are the sealed bearing SE Mohawk hubs along with two gold SE wheelie pegs. All hail the OM.

We went berserk this year with a complete makeover of the So Cal Flyer! We have three stellar new color schemes, upgrades and added parts galore.
