If in doubt, take a Bronson out.
You know what's hard about choosing what model of Santa Cruz suits you? It's having to narrow down what kind of riding you want to do. But what if you don't want to be pinned down by labels? What if you want to just be a mountain biker in the broadest sense of the word? What if you want to choose how you ride rather than what to ride? If this sounds familiar, then try a Bronson.
Our demo crew have a saying, 'If in doubt, take a Bronson out'. The 150mm-travel bike can go deep on any landing and the VPP suspension design makes sure that there's no wasted energy when heading back up for another go.
If you value style at speed or want to have fun feeling fast, then mixed wheels (29" up front, 27.5" out back) show that the spectrum is a loop, not opposite points on a scale. The larger front wheel provides more traction and stability that'll make you feel more confident squaring off the turns and diving for the inside lines. But a 27.5-inch tire in the rear means this bike still loves getting up on the back wheel and into the air.
From flat out on the trail to fully flat over a table, each generation of Bronson rider redefines expectations of what a mountain biker is.
Wheel Size:
- Size X-Small: 27.5-inch
- Sizes Small – X-Large: 29-inch front / 27.5-inch rear

ARE YOU THIS RIDER?
Do your friends ask if you intend to ride the chairlift when you invite them out for a 'few' park laps? Do your top routes frequently involve pushing up and down trails that aren't on any map? Do your favorite rides begin or end with headlamps, an ice chest, and great friends? Does your bike have to do everything well to get you there and back again? If you think you might be this rider, then Occam should be your bike.
- Intended Use: Trail To Light Enduro
LINKAGE UPDATE
Occam uses a new two-part linkage design. Fewer pieces mean fewer interfaces, greater rigidity, and a lower chance of something working loose. Additionally, we have created a space in the axel and filled it with a handy 4 key multi-tool which is held securely in place with magnets. Always have the most-used tools close at hand for quick tweaks.
INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
Occam has our latest, fully internal cable routing, using silicon plugs at the frame entry and exit points and clever conduits linking the front and rear triangle so your cables are fully protected.
ASYMMETRICAL DESIGN
Instead of using a less-efficient "shock tunnel", the Occam offsets the shock to the left side of the frame, allowing the right-side support to be more central and more efficiently deal with the suspension forces acting on the front triangle. This solution enables us to tune the stiffness of this high-stress area without adding unnecessary weight.
THE ASYMMETRIC/OFFSET DESIGN OFFERS UNIQUE ADVANTAGES BEYOND STIFFNESS AND LOW WEIGHT.
Avoiding an interrupted seat tube gives more space for dropper posts plus improves access to the shock controls. Additionally, the tidy design leaves room for a water bottle with easy left-side access.

FOCUS ON FAST
Rallon was forged on the racecourse and is the obvious choice of our EWS race team, but Rallon is always ready for fun outside of the tape and loves fast laps with friends, high-5's and near misses. Fearless, Rallon is up for hitting the biggest gaps in the park, smashing berms, and scorning braking bumps. Forget limits, forget distractions, just focus on fast.
ENDURO RACING HAS EVOLVED AND THE RALLON HAS EVOLVED TOO.
- Enduro racing has evolved with more aggressive tracks and the Rallon has evolved too. Longer and slacker than ever, Rallon also has more standover to give more choice over frame sizing. Totally revised suspension kinematics give a more progressive suspension curve which, combined with 160mm of rear travel is hard to beat; fast and agile in the turns with plenty of control and traction in the rough. Add the beefy Fox 38 fork and Rallon is ready for whatever you have in mind.
WHEN THINGS GET STEEP YOU WANT TO DROP YOUR SADDLE DEEP OUT OF THE WAY AND JUST FOCUS ON FAST!
- More space to move your body means more control and more control means more speed. But low saddles mean long droppers which need short seat tubes. The trick is achieving this without affecting either seat post insertion or frame geometry. With its steep seat tube and deep insertion, Rallon has one of the lowest standovers around, meaning lots of space for your choice of long travel dropper posts. Get that saddle right out of the way when things get steep and deep, long travel droppers are the only way.
PRECISION TRACKING IS KEY FOR FEEL AND GRIP
- It is possible to have a frame which is too stiff to track the terrain efficiently. Manipulating the carbon weave allows us to control flexibility without sacrificing strength, giving a perfectly balanced front and rear triangle stiffness. A lot of technology, modeling, and testing translates to confidence and grip on rough cambered terrain and valuable fractions in race runs.
FULLY SEALED BEARINGS
- Everyone hates changing bearings. Normally bearings fail due to being dirty, not overloaded, and with Rallon we have worked hard to seal all the bearings. Clean bearings last longer and also keep the suspension working optimally when the conditions are filthy.
ASYMMETRY
- The left side support strengthens and stiffens a high-stress area. Instead of using a less-efficient "shock tunnel" the Rallon design offsets the shock 12mm to the right side of the frame, allowing the asymmetrical support to follow a more direct path. This straight line that closely follows the shock mounting is the most efficient way to neutralize suspension forces on the front triangle.
LOCKR FRAME STORAGE
- Leave your pack at home and just focus on fast! Rallon is packed with clever storage spaces for all the essential tools and water you need for shorter rides or enduro races. Packless runs are fast and fun.
THREE LOCKR ZONES
- In the Down tube LOCKR zone we have two sealed bags, with tube, tyre levers, and space for two C02 cartridges. Additionally, the main pivot and rear axle are filled with cleverly designed tools, held securely with magnets. With a tube, tyre repair, tube, hex keys from 3 to 6mm, and a T25, all held securely in space, Rallon is fully equipped.
MORE SIZING OPTIONS:
- Rallon is available in four sizes, S, M, L, and XL, however with one of the shortest seat posts around you can pick between sizes to get your preferred reach. Rallon is designed to work with a long travel dropper post, so choose a larger size to maximize stability, or go with a smaller size for a more playful Rallon.

A little bit (cross) country. A little bit rock and roll.
The Joplin is a bit of an XC wild child, a light bike that's heavy on capability with a "let's go" attitude to any trail.
Let's go fast. Let's go far. Let's go until your legs are ready to give up, and then go some more. Let's make every second count. Let's carve rides out of busy days and put those lines on the map on your done list.
The Joplin's 29-inch wheels and lean frame float over washboard bumps with the same ease with which it devours jagged ledges. A geometry bred for long days in the saddle is blended with 130mm of travel in the front and 120mm in the rear, creating a capable climber that doesn't flinch when roots get ragged and rocks start to roll. The lower link VPP suspension offers a responsive pedaling platform that's ready to get up and go the moment you are. Whether you're flossing rock gardens or making the rider in front of you your next hare, the Joplin is one rapid little trail fox that will take you farther than you thought you could and give you the confidence to go bigger than you thought you would.
With a size range that starts at XS, this bike brings big-wheel benefits to those of us in the fun-size category,, too. And, yes, every size in the line fits a water bottle inside the main triangle because XS doesn't mean "do things by half". Tying up the package is a range of component builds that weave the line between fun and fast, creating a bike that's ready to race the distance or just race the clouds home.
So, what are you waiting for? Let's go!

The Process 134 CR is one of our best-selling machines for so many reasons: it's a carbon-framed bike that won't destroy your wallet, it features a workhorse Shimano groupset, and it's good at all the things. Easy on the ups, fun on the downs. Playful? Yep, that too.
KONA CARBON
Designed to be lightweight and built to demanding standards. Carbon fiber has long been praised for its weight and strength, but rather than chase grams, we place our efforts on the performance that is possible when the right high-modulus fibers are in the right places. Our designers work very closely with our manufacturer to ensure there is no compromise to the desired ride characteristics, durability and – finally – weight stipulations that we expect from our bikes.
INTERNAL HEADSET
Bearing cups are actually pressed into the frame and are easily removable. An internal headset also reduces stack height, so the height of the stem and bars are more adjustable, giving the rider the best fit possible.
TAPERED HEAD TUBE
More girth at the bottom of the head tube better distributes shock force, prolonging the bearing life of the headset itself and eliminating brake shudder, while providing confident steering performance. The inherent strength of its triangular design also means a stronger steering position and improved balance, giving the rider more control in rough terrain. A zero-stack, tapered head tube also puts strength where the load is going—into the lower headset cup—maximizing bearing durability where it's needed.
TUBELESS COMPATIBLE RIMS
Tubeless rims allow for tires with more puncture resistance; the ability to run lower tire pressure, which provides better tire grip on the trail; lower rolling resistance; and weight savings over traditional tube and tire systems.
12x148mm AXLE
12x142mm, 12x148 and 12x157 rear axle standards provide two major advantages to the Kona rider: the 12mm diameter of the rear axle provides the rear hub and frame with a stiff interface, while the 142/148/157mm outer diameter of the hub allows the wheel to be quickly and properly positioned in the frame before the rear axle is inserted. For 2017, you'll see the 12x148 Boost standard in the mix. Boost spacing provides more tire clearance at the chainstay yoke, while the rear wheel is stiffer and more durable relative to a 12x142 thru-axle.
BEAMER INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION
Built to be off-the-top progressive, Beamer Independent Suspension helps the bike to stay higher in the travel and recover from hits more quickly. The Operators are instilled with what our product managers like to call "pure shock movement," whereby the shock is protected from side load. Designed to be highly tuneable and extremely durable, the Beamer IS is our version of greased lightning.

More travel than a white van
Big-mountain riding is a nomadic existence: meeting friends in far-flung car parks; pinpointing trails you're not sure are even rideable; sending the ones you know are. Shiny new bling gets battered, shattered, and bruised. That's life. That's how it should be. That's why the Nomad exists.
Probably the most abused bike in our line up, every Nomad has a story to tell. But, each Nomad we've made keeps coming back for more. It's not Stockholm Syndrome, it's called sealed bearings in all pivots, a lower link grease port, shuttle guards, and free bearing replacements. Why scrap a frame when a simple bearing service can make one last a lifetime? That's our stance on sustainability at least, and it's why our carbon fiber doesn't just mean lighter, it means tough as hell backed up by a lifetime warranty and crash replacement support.
There's no time for puzzling when on a road trip, either. That's why we chose 27.5 wheels as the go-to for the widest variety of riding styles and rider sizes. When peeling your bike out of the van at a new spot, your only question should be: "Is this a full-face or a half-lid kinda ride?" The 64-degree head angle and 77-degree seat angle puts you in the sweet spot when winching up to the top of a big drop-in. Meanwhile, proportional chainstay lengths mean handling is never compromised, regardless of frame size.
And, when we say big travel, we're not talking about your Transit's odometer. We're talking 170mm of 38mm diameter fork and 170mm of VPP rear suspension compatible with both coil and air shocks. The details are completed by a neat mud flap to protect the rear shock, plus tidy cable routing within the frame and swingarm and rubberized DT protectors that shrug off strikes.
So, van-lifers, unite. The Nomad is the kind of bike you need never worry about all summer long. Sorry we can't say the same for the locked public washrooms and parking tickets.

Our demo crew have a saying, 'If in doubt, take a Bronson out'. The 150mm-travel bike can go deep on any landing and the VPP suspension design makes sure that there's no wasted energy when heading back up for another go.
If you value style at speed or want to have fun feeling fast, then mixed wheels (29" up front, 27.5" out back) show that the spectrum is a loop not opposite points on a scale.
